ProspectCloud places the utmost value in privacy, security and compliance. The forgoing explains how we research information on professionals within a workforce ecosystem, the organizations they reside in, and other types of information that we sell. This policy details our protocols in protecting all information, and adherence to best practices relating to data security.

Where does ProspectCloud get its Information from?

ProspectCloud specializes in research into companies and pinpointing individuals who represent prospective buyers and buying groups of products and services. We use varied sources, including manually researching the web to reference publicly available Information including but not limited to government filings, press releases, state and federal licensing bureaus and business social profiles and biographies. We also license information from reputable resources, companies, trade associations, publication and other resources as appropriate for curating a comprehensive and accurate dataset of prospects for a customer’s need.

ProspectCloud’s scope of services is business centric, and in turn we limit collection of any personal information at all. Some information, such as an individual’s job title, may be seen as personal information. We do not collect any information on consumers other than that which relates to their professional profile or that which would be found on a business card or on the web. ProspectCloud takes exhaustive measures to vet and verify information as up to date and correct, and safeguards all information connected with a professional including those that may be seen as personal information.

We take extraordinary measures to ensure accuracy, relevancy and actionability of the data for our customers:

Vetting: ProspectCloud vets each contact immediately prior to our customer’s receipt of the information. On average, the result is a failure, or removal, of 65% of the contacts who do not make it through one or more stages of our vetting processes successfully. ProspectCloud conveys a 100% warranty on all products and services, whose terms are detailed in our services agreement.

Direct Business Information: ProspectCloud does not sell any information that is “role”, “generic”, “personal” or “free”. By way of example, that includes the exclusion of email addresses such as info@ or email addresses such as @gmail.com.

Removal and Opt Out: Any person may request to opt-out of receiving future communication from ProspectCloud at any time, and we honor such requests within 10 days. Any person may request removal from having their information sold, and we usually honor such requests within 1-4 hours from the time the person initiates the request and we process. Under no circumstance will removal time ever exceed 30 days.

How else does ProspectCloud Collect and Use Information?

Those individuals who have an interest in learning more about products and services offered by ProspectCloud, may choose to inquire by providing their name, phone number and email address. The information of those who inquire with us is used wholly and solely for response and communication surrounding their request, and that information is not in any way mingled with our list building resources and is never sold. You always retain the right to opt out. Choosing to use the website and submitting a request form, constitutes your consent to the practices described herein. If you do not agree with this Policy, you should not fill out a request for and should delete all cookies from your browser cache after visiting the Site and refrain from visiting or using the Site.

For customers who purchase services and choose to provide credit card information, that information is used wholly and solely for the payment and for no other purpose. Credit card information is stored in an secure environment hosted by our merchant provider, and with the highest standards of encryption and data security. We never collect and store, sell, share or use your credit card at all and it is our practice to only initiate payments with your express permission.

In order to personalize your experience and measure our own effectiveness, we use our own cookies as well as those of third parties, such as Google Analytics and Hubspot. Information that does not allow you to be personally identified is recorded when you navigate our site. This includes your Internet Protocol address, browser, pages visited, time and date and other information. If you were to submit a request form on our site where you identify yourself, we can link this information to your request.

Customer Information

ProspectCloud may collect the contact and information of our customers in order to facilitate routine and expected communication and to provide exceptional service. We communicate with our customers by video, phone, email and chat. By the request of our customers, we may communicate with them on their cell phone or personal email for routine and expected communication. Customer Information includes Name, Address, Phone and Email and is not disclosed to any vendor, service provider or other third party.

ProspectCloud uses Hubspot to store Customer Information. Hubspot is a well-respected solution provider and their security and back-up procedures to protect Customer Information comply with domestic and international privacy regulations, including CCPA. In the unlikely event there is a loss or corruption of Customer Information, ProspectCloud is not responsible or liable for such loss or corruption.

You may opt-out of receiving newsletters or other email communication by unsubscribing or replying to the email and request to be unsubscribed. You may also do so by telephone or postal mail by using the information located at the bottom of this Policy.

Security Measures

Information security is paramount, and although our scope of services is designed to have nearly no opportunities where any information is exposed to risk, at the places in our workflow where there is any potential for exposure, we take proactive measures to ensure the highest level of protection and security. For that very reason, we do not facilitate credit card payments directly through our website, and instead use only industry leading providers who use secure socket layer technology (SSL) to encrypt that information.

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
